A fourth of July pool party is the epitome of summer. You can swim all day with your friends and family, BBQ, eat homemade popsicles to cool off during swim breaks, and when it cools off in the evening you can break out the sparklers and fireworks for everyone to enjoy poolside.
To prep for your pool party in Lafayette, LA, send out invitations in the mail or send out a fun e-mail inviting your guests to partake in a day of swimming and laughter. You can set your dolphin robotic pool cleaner to scrub the bottom and walls of your swimming pool, and check your pHin app on your phone to monitor the chemicals so everything is perfect for the day of the party. Decorate for your event with red, white, and blue décor. Hang some patriotic bunting, flags, or patriotic foil fringe, and decorate your tables with patriotic cloths. You can even keep the food patriotic with red, white, and blue food. A patriotic fruit salad with blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, and marshmallows will delight kids and adults.
Since July is hot, setting out fans by the seating area can help combat the heat for those that don’t swim and simply want to sit poolside. Make the fans patriotic by tying red, white, and blue ribbon to the cage and watch the ribbons blow in the breeze. Keep an ice chest outside with drinks for easy access.
In the evening, when the temperature has dropped and everyone retires from the swimming pool, sit down and enjoy your BBQ and then prepare for a showing of fireworks. Send your guests on home with a patriotic party favor such as red, white, and blue bandannas filled with American goodies.
